In a 2011 human study, 8 healthy men received 10 mg boron daily. After one week, mean free testosterone increased significantly.

A small, short study without a parallel week-long placebo group. This preliminary finding does not establish a testosterone-boosting effect for Elemental+, which contains a planned 8 mg boron daily.
The planned daily serving of Elemental+ includes 8 mg elemental boron from boric acid. The stated quantity refers to boron, rather than the total weight of boric acid.
What do other studies show?
Results are mixed. A seven-week placebo-controlled study in 19 male bodybuilders found no significant additional effect on testosterone from 2.5 mg boron daily.

Another four-week study using 10 mg daily found only a trend towards increased testosterone. These different studies do not establish a reliable dose–response relationship.
